Semantic Insight is a labor market intelligence platform that helps CTE programs and workforce development organizations generate compliance documentation. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our services.
Key commitment: We collect only what's needed to run the platform. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Job posting content you submit for analysis is processed in real-time and is not retained after your results are generated.
To use Semantic Insight, you create an account with an email address and password. We store your email, a hashed password (managed by our authentication provider), and basic profile information such as your account role and preferences. This information is necessary to provide you access to the platform and your saved work.
When using Semantic Insight, you may:
Your saved analyses and generated reports are stored in your account so you can access them later. You can delete your analyses at any time from your dashboard.
We log basic activity events tied to your account, such as when you sign in, create an analysis, or generate a report. This helps us understand how the platform is being used and improve the product. Activity data is visible only to you and to platform administrators.
Job posting text is sent to our analysis API, processed using semantic matching against O*NET occupational standards, and returned to your browser. Job posting content is sourced via Google Jobs search results and is not stored beyond what is needed for your analysis.
Semantic Insight relies on the following services to operate. Your data may pass through or be stored by these providers in the course of normal use:
Each provider is subject to their own privacy policies. We select providers with strong data handling practices.
All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS 1.3 encryption via Cloudflare. Our API requires authentication, implements rate limiting (20 requests per 10 seconds), and validates all inputs to prevent malicious content including XSS and injection attempts. Access is restricted to US-based requests. User data is protected by row-level security, ensuring you can only access your own analyses and reports. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Your account and saved analyses are retained as long as you have an active account. You may delete individual analyses at any time. If you wish to delete your entire account and associated data, contact us at the address below.
